The Independent Railway Supervisors Association (I.R.S.A.) was formed August 14, 1992.
The purpose of the Independent Railway Supervisors Association is:
- To combine the interest of its members in order to gain representation consistent with that of other railroad and airway employees.
- To comply with the Railway Labor Act as amended and the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959.
- To guard the financial interest and promote the general welfare of its members.
As a supervisor's union, we are committed to advocating for the rights and well-being of supervisors in all industries. Our mission is to ensure fair and equitable treatment, promote professional development, and create a supportive and inclusive work environment for all supervisors.
We strive to foster strong relationships between supervisors and management, promoting open communication and collaboration. We believe that supervisors play a vital role in the success of any organization, and it is our goal to provide them with the resources and support they need to excel in their roles.
